ITAD Leadership Retreat 2025

Compliance Standards is pleased to announce the holding of its exclusive ITAD Leadership Retreat, to be held in beautiful Wickenburg, Arizona from 12 to 15 February 2025. This exclusive event is for senior decision makers in the ITAD industry, OEMs, retailers, and adjacent sectors with interest in enterprise ITAD and recycling.  The theme of this year’s retreat is:

Exclusivity and Format

The event is not a conference. It is a high-end and luxury retreat and in intimate settings, meant to bring together the most relevant actors who, individually or collectively, have the ability to influence the shape and the future of the ITAD industry.  Attendance will be limited to 35 participants.

The event will feature these specific agenda items:

1. The participation of top analysts will be to deliver formal and semi-formal presentations that will focus on the state of the sector, future outlook and on the obstacles facing it. The analysts will propose ideas on how to interpret ongoing trends and future challenges to help industry leaders frame the discussion.  In addition to the top analysts, industry leaders and representatives of organizations that use ITAD will contribute to the formal presentation phase.

2. In-depth discussions among attendees will stimulate ideas on on how to effectively and collectively address and reform the sector to deal with its inhibitors and the challenges. This section will come in the form of open forum in a luxury setting, with the idea of allowing participants to share issues and solutions, and work ass a group to reach meaningful conclusions to grow their business.

3. Non-business activities such as dining, music, golfing, horseback riding, etc., are expected to stimulate deeper discussions in a fun environment and will help bring consensus on the way forward among industry leaders.

More Specifically:
The Event has Four Goals:

1. To present the latest data and information on ITAD and electronics recycling industry and trends. Market analysts will use data to frame the broad discussion of the event by profiling market conditions and the industry’s environment. Analysts, both from within and outside the industry, will also offer a view on the future and what to expect the months and years to come.

2. To hear from executives from end-user companies on how they run their ITAD programs.  The purpose is to help industry leaders hear the concerns and pain points experienced by corporate clients and prospective ones.

3. To create an environment that will foster the emergence of ideas and strategies of common interest, spanning from how to educate customers to how to constructively engage with OEMs and other stakeholders. These open discussion sessions will lead to propositions that will seek to enhance the industry’s performance and improve its relationships with other critical stakeholders.

4. To chart the path for 2025 and beyond with common interests and shared ideas that would enhance the importance of and the central role ITAD plays in corporate ESG and bring it to the next level.

What to Know

1. This retreat is for the most senior executives in the industry.  It is meant to be a top-level networking event, where content and analysis are about half of the program.

2. The remaining time will be allocated for consensus building, open-format discussions, enhancing networking, solidifying relations among industry leaders.
