HyProMag USA announced on October 19 that it had deployed a mobile hard disk drive (HDD) separation system for customer trials and on-site processing across the United States. The company is developing a rare earth magnet recycling and manufacturing plant in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. Its processing partner, Intelligent Lifecycle Solutions (ILS), already operates fixed HDD separation systems in South Carolina and Nevada. The mobile unit brings that work to the sites where drives are collected and gives HyProMag a way to secure material ahead of the Texas plant’s planned 2028 ramp-up.
